This is a great day out starting at Inchnadamph and you get two Munros for the price of one!

Park by the Inchnadamph Hotel, walk onto the road, turn right, cross the bridge then turn right again. Stay on this path, going through a Deer gate, just keep to the path, you will pass a holiday cottage at Glenbain, then as the path descends a little there is a bridge which leads to the caves, don't cross the bridge, keep to the left and follow the path next to the river until it turns left and starts to rise. From here it gets pretty boggy.

Make sure you are following the stream which flows into the river, its easy to miss it as its in a ravine, get near it and follow it uphill. It get steeper and near the top you cross the stream, climb a bit more to a level section. Its very rocky here but the path is clear, then comes a short climb. This climb is not difficult, however its not very dog friendly! On my first attempt I had to turn back as my old Border Collie could not make it and you need both hands just to get yourself up!

Once over this obstacle take a broad left circle to gain access to the rocky climb to the summit of your first Munro, Conival. The summit of Conival is not the first one you come to, carry on for a few hundred yards to the real summit where you will find a cairn.

From here the walk to Ben More is over ankle breaking rocks, but be sure you are on the right path, its easy to go the wrong way and find yourself in some difficulty.

Return the same way.
